Emulator Added: PCSX2
Because the PCSX2 Mac website (http://pcsx2-mac.quant0r.com) is down, we’ve decided to upload a version of PCSX2 for all those Mac users out there who would like to be able to play their PlayStation 2 (PS2) games on their Intel Macs.
We’ve posted a download guide at http://speedofmac.com/pcsx2_download.html.
Leave a comment if you can get PCSX2 working, if you’re having difficulty, if the instructions are unclear, or if you need any help!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Happy gaming,

I actually tried this emu a couple weeks ago with FF X. It completely stopped after the FMV showing the sporting event and town destruction and I was unable to get past it. Anyone know if that’s changed? It was a shame, looked like it was running at a pretty good speed.
I was able to get past that part. Let me know if you can with this version!
Anybody got Devil May Cry 3 working? The graphic only shows the lower half of the screen, and the gameplay is really slow – about 10 seconds to display a frame.
Or is it because I’m on 9400M? (Unibody MBP, running 10.6.2)
Hi anyone, I installed pcsx2 yesterday in my OSX but when I configured plugins and click OK, this came out: “ZeroPAD: failed to save ini /Applications/pcsx2.app/Contents/Resources/pcsx2/inis/zeropad.ini”.
What should I do?
I have an ISO image. What should I do to run a game?
@Vivi29
All you should need to do is go to the File menu item and choose “Run Iso Image…”, then navigate to where the ISO is located. Does that work for you?
@Vivi29
Are you still having trouble with this?
Still, admin.
This time it says “GS plugin failed to open. Error code: 1″
Before that, I already installed XQuartz and CG framework updates. Then updated ZZOgl.0.21.204.
Please help!
It might have something to do with a corrupted bios: http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-forum/122828-gs-plugin-failed-open-initialize.html
I have downloaded all the components listed in the guide, and have installed them properly.. but when i go to open up pcsx2, the all shows up in the dock and then quits.. any suggestions?
What version of OS X are you using? What are your computer specs? It might help to open up Console (Applications/Utilities/Console) and post any error messages that come as a result of launching pcsx2. Let me know if I can be of any help!
